Carbs - Removing Unnecessary Bits Of Wiring Loom

Recommended Posts

barneys66

Afternoon all - thought now would be a good time to permanently remove a couple of bits of the loom that are no longer required as I'm running carbs.

Question is how best to remove them - I have no plans to revert to stock in the future, so it can be considered a permanent change. I only had a very brief look inside, but assume both of these spurs form part of the main loom, i.e. there's no simple way to unplug them at the bulkhead, so should I just cut them / heatshrink the ends..? Would you cut a little or a lot..?

These are the two in question, together with where they enter the cabin. All advice welcome!

Miles

One's alarm rubbish so just cut it out and trace back if it's been connected anywhere, the ECU loom being a early type is removed as well, just check the fuel pump wiring not knowing how you have done it
