Tin Top Conversion - Any Guidelines Or Templates?

Evening all,

 

Im going through the process of turning my sunroof model into a tin top, sunroof has always leaked and I'm happy with my decision to convert. Couple of questions I have though;

 

1) Does a Template exist for a piece of sheet metal that'll fit well?

 

2) What thickness of metal should I use?

 

3) Should I brace the piece of sheet to prevent flexing? ( I know all panels flex on the 205 but I just wanted to make sure it isn't too bad!

 

4) will just filling over the bolts further back down the car be okay or do they sit slightly proud and need moving further in?
