sorry if this isnt the right section..

 

Can someone tell me what the 3 pins are on the 3 pin radiator switch?

I need to know witch one is the 12v in as i am wiring up a standalone circuit with a relay

Could i just buy a 2 pin switch im guessing they are just 12v in and 12v out

3 pin switches are usually a double temp switch ie one circuit is made at say 90 degrees and the other at 100 degrees.

 

To check for 12v, use a multimeter

I'm not using any of the original wiring loom hence needed to know what pin was the 12v in so i can wire my slim line fan up to it on its own,

I've purchased a two pin swtich now so it should just be a case of 12v in and out

If you're using a 2-pin switch then it doesn't matter which pin you use for 12V. It's just a simple on/off switch, so you can wire it either way round.

Yes i know this, i was originally using a 3 pin switch hence me asking about the 3 pins,

As said previousy, i have sorted it now by purchasing a 2 pin switch
