Garage/mechanic Recommendation In South Manchester Area

Hello,

 

Earlier this year my standard 1.6 205 was saved from an almost certain trip to the scrapyard by a kindly forum member. It has since covered four or five thousand miles without missing a beat (it even ticks over nicely when the headlights aren't in use).

 

Though the car will be laid up for a couple of months over the winter (body refurb.), I'd like to use it quite a lot next year. I'm on the lookout for a good specialist who knows their way around 205s - I'm imagining someone old and grizzled who served an apprenticeship working on 504s or something. The car will need servicing, fettling and undoubtedly several other jobs along the way.

 

I can just about manage to change the oil myself but that's about it - I don't even know how to open the air filter box! Can anyone recommend a good garage, ideally somewhere on the Southern side of Stockport?

First place that comes to mind is Skip Brown but he's around Sandbach, if you can justify a bit of a drive?
