Gti Speedo Cable

Anyone know a source for a replacement speedo cable? All the usual suspects plus my motor factors can only come up with a 900mm cable which is for the TU/MA cars as far as I can tell.

The GTI XU/BE cars cable is 1100mm.

Peugeot still do them (or at least did last year), 900mm is lhd.

I got my one from speedograph-Richfield, £15. Looks like they have the 1070mm one.

I fitted a cable off a 405, 1240mm long so you can route it right out of the way of the exhaust on a 6' or turbo. I managed to get mine off a scrapper for £2, but still available from pug.

I did the same as Alan77, although it doesn't include the squash ball type bulkhead grommet so you need to swap it over from the cable you are taking off.

I have a brand new First line cable still in the bag it measures 1200mm end to end if its any good to you.
