Mi Spark Plugs

Recommended Posts

I've seen and replied to a archived bit about MI spark plug but not sure if it will show up anywhere so this is what I'm after!

Re best spark plugs for MI, what NGK Plugs do people use? A brief look mentions BCP7ET and I have got BCPR6ET in the track car, i think it said online about the 7's for non cat and 6's for cat, obv I don't have a cat on the track car!

I've got to change them now but wondered if others get on bette with say Bosch/splitfires etc? It's only a standard MI. cheers

Assuming it's a 1.9 Mi16, I'd just run the standard BCP7ET's if it were me - cheap, readily available and proven to work.

Cheers, it's a 1.9mi standard, anyone know what difference it would make between the 7's and 6's? Tbh the car has had 6's in for at least a year and done several track days and been fine! Just interested in the difference... If any! The 6's seem easier to get than the 7's, never heard of those 6eix plugs Peter?

I'm using NGK BCPR7ES in my 1.9 Mi16. No complaints.
