Be1 Gearbox Bearing Kit

Recommended Posts

I think theyre the ones I used, albeit for a be3 kit. Gearbox had 5k miles of serious abuse from 180bhp / 160ftlb without issue.

Thats what i like to hear as it seems a good price but no needle bearing included so will guess i will have to source that elsewhere.

For what it is worth, does your car have to have a be1? The be3 clutch mechanism feels so much smoother to use! Maybe worth fitting the be3 clutch arm and fork to a late be1 box to get rid of the horrible top L bracket and pin, that is ofcourse if you have to use a be1 box!

The roller bearing for 1st gear, Pug only that but used on current box's so getting one is no issue.

The clutch operation is what I have done on my older CTi, used the BE3 arm in the BE1 box and it's what BE1 Mi16 box's used as well
