Trying To Find My Grandad's Old 205 Gti, Reg F423 Mft

Hello,

I'm Simon from Newcastle upon Tyne and I'm trying to find my grandad's old car. He he had a black 205 GTI 1.9. Registration was F423 MFT. He owned it from new I think, in 1989 and had it until he died in the late 90s. He loved the car and so did the family. Just wondering what ever happened to the car. If anyone on here owns it or knows of it please let me know? I don't expect any confidential information of course, just curious about if its still running and what kind of condition its in. My grandad was a petrol head and really cherished that car. I have some old pictures of it from when he bought it so happy to share them with the current owner and tell them about what I remember of the car.
