400Nm?! That's a fair chunk of torque for a relatively small car! Like it.

 

Yeah...it's rather quick And I heard last week at PugFest that there are hardly any in the UK. Plenty of GT-lines, but no real GTs.

 

It is quicker than my mates 205 CTi Mi16 on Jenveys....

They are 295lb ft standard, it seems everyone is getting more torque nowadays, puts it in line with the bmws old twin turbo 2.0. Can't help thinking unless it's been developed with someone else it'll destroy gearboxes. Unless it's an auto only... Even my polo musters 236lb ft somehow!

It's an EAT6 auto gearbox. This 181bhp 2.0 HDi engine is not available with a manual gearbox. But it shifts great in sport-mode. Just as quick as my colleagues DSG VW Golf.

They just shouldn't have done the GT-lines. I now see 130bhp 1.2 3-cylinder ones which look the same as mine I see the difference (different air intakes, different indicators and smaller wheels) but 90% of the people just don't.

Here is our Grandis EVO GT. Needed something with useable boot with 6/7 seats in use and didn't drive as bad as a Zafira so we looked at a Van then settled on this.

When we bought it the sales lady said it has as many turbines as an EVO - what she did'nt say was that was because it has 2nd aircon for the rear

Mods include anti tail gate device (towbar with bike rack tubes) and some go faster stripes scrapes because the front valance is actually quite low at the corners and catches curbs

Here's my latest purchase. A 2014 FG MkII Falcon XR6 Turbo. 4 litre DOHC, VVT, 270Kw, 533Nm torque @ 2000rpm.
It will replace my 22 yo Falcon tow car for the Mi16.
