Pts Cams

Found this when trawling through the forum - a thread about Grp.A cam in a 1900 back in 2007 - posted by Pug_Ham

'There used to be three different group A cams, 1.9 'Peformance' (7060), max torque (7048) & max "top end" (7040).

Oddly the max torque was the cheapest.

Graham.

My 205 rallycar cam has 7048 stamped on it - which would make sense - max torque for stage rallying

Do you have Any duration specs of these cams?

Are they all using stock management etc?

The 7048 won't run on standard management.

Edit: This is the 7048 compared to a standard 1.6 cam haha.

It did "run" on MP3.1.

Map was off obviously, though I hadn't got a wideband so no idea what it actually was like.

Is the stock cam the right one?

Seems like massive difference in lift...

I have a 1.9 D6B engine with PTS 7048 cam running single plenum injection (modified TPS ) on an Emerald M3D ECU and a hall effect bosch distributor.
