Got mine from CP4L with the bodykit holes for trim, but no indicator hole, but easy enough to make it / get the bodyshop to do it. No problems whatsoever

yes i am aware of this, earlier ones have a larger repeater hole, if they are smaller they can always be opened up more as my pug is a phase 1

arent the repeaters larger on phase 1.5/2? or is that just on the outside and both had the same size hole?

Same sized hole, just square vs rectangular lens and base.

I'm on my phone so don't have a picture to hand, but compare the position of the side repeater on a Ph1.5 to a Ph2 and they're noticeably different as Mei says.

Not such an issue if you're replacing both wings provided you're not wanting absolute originality, but it will stick out a mile if you only replace one wing with an incorrect age one.

I thought they were the shame shape throughout.

Here's the difference in position-

well both wings are being replaced as drivers side wing has some rot at the bottom next to the sill. and has a dent above the wing line

so far its having 2 new sills, a new bonnet and 2 new wings

The sills seem ok and bonnet there is no noticeable difference, it does say on the sticker on the bonnet that it's galvanised so should last a long time and the wings I collect tomorrow so will update on Monday, will offer them up to see how much fettling they gonna need

Ok update as follows

It turns out ecp don't do the gti wings as I discovered when looking at them, they are for base models only

Well done to the fella who said last week that they were for a gti, when explained he said he never knew that.

So ECP don't do gti wings

So back to the drawing board, not sure where to look now ?

I tried ECP for wings, Had both combinations and still no good, No trim holes and the lower edges were too large to even contemplate fitting the body trims too.

In the end I got a local Independent to source me two wings with trim kit holes but no repeater holes and he also got me two bumpers with red trim fitted
