Be3 Thrust Bearing

I've just had my be3 box rebuilt put it back in the car started it up and when u press the clutch in it squels I changed the fork had it off eBay new but the thrust bearing wouldn't clip on to it as the fork was to thick do u think the thrust has come off any ideas

check the top of the shaft for a stamped letter or cross, and the colour of the bushes.

 

I take it the car hasn't got the 1.6 BE1 box it came with?

No it hasn't I've put new bushes in the yellow ones when I had this box there was no fork with it . The thrust bearing won't clip onto the fork as the fork bit is to thick

So when u press the clutch in something is scraping

it might be a pull fork, or the wrong offset bushes.

If u look on ebay be3 fork it will come up I might try the white bushes instead
