Ecu Loom Positioning

Recommended Posts

mowflow

Slowly getting there with putting my dash back together in preparation for the moment of truth (cranking the engine over for the first time in almost 3 years).

Could someone confirm or even provide a picture of how the ECU loom runs from it's hole in the bulkhead to the ECU? I can't remember whether it goes above, below or through the steering column mount.

I'll get a picture in a bit, my dash is currently out.

Goes up and over steering column mounting bracket, runs inside the plastic section

As above, although if you're likely to need to remove the loom again it might be worth re-routing it as otherwise you need to half remove the dashboard to get it in and out...

Much appreciated. Just the sort of pic I had been searching for before asking.

Unfortunately going to have to pull the dash out again or try and convince a small child with skinny arms to help as I've not put it up there in the tabs.
