I have some great new seats and harnesses (well not new, new but new to me) and I need to get them fitted as I am not good enough to do it myself. I took the car to a company called Quickfit safety belt specialists to convert the lap belts into a 3.1 belt. They have been in the game for donkeys years, were the cheapest I could find and the service was excellent. They had several other classic cars they were working on at the time. I could not fault them and would defo use again. Web address is www.quickfitsbs.com and are based in London. Although not sure if they would be of any use regarding the fitting of your seat. Matt Holley 11 Posted August 12, 2015 I had these welded in. you could get some universal seat runners from Merlins, mount them to the welded in rails and bolt the side mounts to that if you wanted although I just bolt the side mounts to the rails. Look for someone that does race car prep and they should be able to do it, I had my omp cage widened and a X bar added with harness bars but its all down to how much you have to spend. sp_en_ny 17 1 Cars Posted August 19, 2015 (edited) From memory they originally quoted about £350, when I had it done it came to just under £300 as they completed the work quicker then what they had originally provisioned for so this was a nice added bonus. The work includes new seatbelts and you have a choice of about 20 colours as well. If you PM me your e-mail address I will take some pics and e-mail them to you. they are static belts and so do not wind away like the fronts. I have one each side and they put a lap belt in the middle for me, you can also have the middle one done but it means restricting your boot space as the belt has to run at a certain angle, could not get mine done as it has 2 12inch subs in there.
