Coin Tray Catch

Hi Everyone,

Not sure if you all know this already, I did not until meeting up with another forum member on here, if the catch has broke on your coin tray these catches are the exact same as those used on the Brabantia bins. These can be bought on Ebay for peanuts. I bought 5 of them for just under £3.

 

Simply search for Brabantia bin catch on ebay. I have seen some adverts trying to pass these off as original parts and wanting £45 for them !

Back in the day there was a similar thread to this but Brabantia were handing them out for free if you said your bin was broken...

 

Actually I don't think it was Brabantia, I think there might be more than one type of bin that uses these catches.

The one i remember from the past was Brabantia, and they would send them to you free under warranty for a certain kind of bin.

It's a common catch. They're used in tons of different things. My PC case has two to hold the covers over the fans.
