Need V6 Driveshafts Shortening

I need two v6 driveshafts shortening to be installed in a 205 gti, I need someone that can carry out this service for me, thanks

Thanks, just noticed your signature the 309 v6 how did the v6 conversion affect the car? how is the handling? the braking feel? does it take longer to brake? I should imagine it isn't too bad on fuel if you drive it normal (think it does 28mpg in 406 so should do a lot more losing nearly 500kg}, be interesting to know from someone who owns one, I am committed to doing mine now can't wait to get it done.

Sorry to hijack but please let me know if you manage to get these done.

 

I've just attempted mine but not very confident in them. I'm also in Manchester.

 

I had a quote from a company in Salford who wanted £400!, I can't find any engineers locally as they are worried about liability.

 

Wouldn't mine having a look at your conversion if you are local?

Have a word with the guy at Headshop in Warrington, pretty good at all sort of machining but don't know if he can do/attempt these though
