Cabrio Top Cover

Hey there!

 

Whenever I put the white leather cover over my soft top, it alwaya gets so full of these orange sponge like stuff. Is there a way to stop this? It's quite annoying to clean the car every time after using it...

I've tried washing it, didnt work. Would it be okay to cut the inner black cover and then clean underneath it?

Thanks however there is no solution in that thread. What do you think, s it possible to cut the inner black layer to remove that rotting sponge? Or how could I stop all that dust from coming through?
