There will likely be some wires left over from the Xantia loom, such as the immobiliser wiring, diagnostics plug (assuming that's not wired up) and air conditioning as these are all typically unused on a 205 conversion.

There shouldn't be any spare wires from the 205 plugs though, other than possibly an earth off the 6 pin plug (yellow/green striped). If there's unused wires from the 205 plugs, chances are that some of the guages and dash warning lights have not been wired up correctly - although it's worth noting that as standard there isn't an oil pressure gauge or oil temperature wiring present on the turbo loom (at least, there certainly isn't on an XM loom)

Does anybody have the wires listed for all the engine loom to dash wires?

I'm trying to convert a 2.0 turbo loom at the minute without the engine and cant find any diagrams that show bits like Alt warn light, Start trigger, Oil pressure switch, Coolant sender and tacho etc?

All you need is the information above.

That image didnt help me much when i did mine cos my wires were different colours and numbers and searching for the proper solution is a right head ache.

You can stare at all the information you need for hours and not have a clue.

Biggest problem i had was understanding peoples diy diagrams that were actually meant to replace the rather convenient loom (which is usually well knackered after a hard life) that should come attached to it with an even more convenient plug or two to make it plug and play.

I had the 605 version of this engine and was lucky that wiring diagrams exist for its wiring that anyone could figure out.

Sadly this isnt the case with the xm version as all the wiring is usually the same colour with no numbers, or so ive read.

However i have this.......

You don't need colours or numbers. Just the wiring diagrams and a multi meter.

The diagrams above only show the ECU and its sensors. None of them show the engine loom to chassis wires i.e oil pressure switch and warning lamp.

If I had the engine in front of me it would be as simple as laying the loom back on, labelling the plugs and then simply belling them out.

That looks helpful Slo, I'll compare that to this 406 loom.
