Remind Me Which Sensor Controls The Temp Gauge Please

Hi,

 

In my old age I have completely forgotten which water sensor controls the gauge.

 

Top or lower one.

I've cleaned up both contacts with a file and switch cleaner but it hasn't made a difference.

Earth each wire out on the block with the ignition on and check the gauges. It should go to full if the wiring is all good which suggests a buggered sensor.

Shorter one is the guage, taller one the light.

Sorted.

Lower one and once it's out its the shorter one.

Two part nos. one for 105deg the other 110deg.
