Xs / Gti Caliper Issue

Hi.

 

I've fitted some parts to my XS today, so I'm running the following

 

1.6 Hubs

1.6 Discs

1.6 Pads

1.6 Pad Carrier

1.6 / XS Caliper

 

When braking there is a knock knock knock knock so I think the calipers I'm using are knackered

 

What I need is to buy some new front Calipers.

 

Using the above disc/hub combo. What's the best Caliper to fit?

Will I need to use the 1.6 pad carrier for the pads because of the wider 1.6 hub/disc offset?

 

I want to use the car for Pugfest so I'm running out of time.

To add. I've only got 13" steels on at present.

you can use any peugeot/citroen caliper from a 247mm vented setup with your existing dics/hubs.

 

you may struggle to get 13's over some though, but the taller 1.6 disc will help.

So any Caliper from say a 306 DTurbo but with the 1.6 pad carriers? Current ones are bendix with the 5 sided bolt

For the sake of £100 for a pair of new Calipers, I may just buy new
