Rear Bumper Mounts - Available & How Easy To Fix?

Recommended Posts

ATK

Managed to reverse into something a few weeks ago lightly and it impacted my bumper with the result that I had a look at my rear bumper and it would appear that the passenger side rear bumper mount is rusted and is f*cked.

Need to replace the rear bumper mount, passenger side. Is it available and is it ok for the average bodyshop to sort?

Cheers

Alex

ATK, sorry, i was reading this and text somebody lol

I did see them for sale somewhere, but can't remember where. (I cut one off a scrap car for mines.)

Easy job to replace for someone with a grinder and a welder btw.

Ok, bumper brackets and new bolts ordered.

Whats the best way if getting this sorted? Do the rear arches have to come off, or can I get away with just taking off the rear bumper and lights?

Any guides?

I'd take the trim off as your gunna need to weld the new bit in, so just better for space for cleaning up the surface and welding if you do. Iv not fitted mine yet but just looking at pics from when my trim was on it looks to be in the way a tad
