Xsara Vts Rack Fitting

Put my ph1 vts rack on the 205 this evening, couple of questions though. Should there be spacers on the 2 mounting bolts to stop the subframe from squeezing together? There was none fitted and it appears that the subframe has compressed slightly from being done up in the past, (I have left it finger tight till I get an answer!)

 

Also can anyone remind me of the routing for the pipe work? I remember that the pipe with the sensor in comes underneath the sump and directly up on to powere steering pump but can't remember where the other should be rooted and my 306 is in storage miles away so can't get any ideas from that!

yup, spacer tubes should be fitted.
