Crotch Strap Mount Location For Harnesses

Anyone know where i should be fixing the eyebolts for the crotch strap on my harnesses?

 

The other 4 points are sorted, just dont feel too comfortable drillig a hole in the floor for them. Its got welded in seat runners, would they go to this?

Drill and use the large sandwich plates. Some scrutineers don't like the harness mounts going to the seat rails.

also mount them behind the slot in the seat when viewed from above to make sure they are a tight fit when worn -not forward !

Mine are as Mikeyd suggests.

 

Yes you can go straight through the floor. Use a sandwich plates as Tom states to spread the load.

 

 

From memory I think JJC Race and Rally were most competitively priced.

if at all possible take the strap directly down, you dont want any angle on it at all, if the worst happens and the seat mounts did break then it's the last failsafe part which will stop movement fore/aft.

And straight down to the floor it is then!!
