Upgrading My 309 Brakes - M/c Advice

Recommended Posts

Loose Hand Luke

Hi all,

Been having a search and a read of other theads without any precise luck with this question.

Are there any larger bore m/c's that DON'T fit a 205/309 servo?

I'm after a 22-24mm ish dia m/c and don't want to raid a scrappy and grab the wrong thing.

Was thinking something from a 306 might be easiest to find?

I'm wanting to run 306 xsi Lucus calipers on the front with my standard 309 gti rears.

Cheers all.

Luke

You'll obviously know that you want a 406 non abs cylinder. 306 cylinders will work but the bigger ones are off cars with abs so will only have 2 ports.

Ah thanks mate.

Didn't find that info.

I'm not sure if my rear compensator valves are in the best condition so I might run a 2 port abs m/c and T-off the front and rears and fit a bias valve in the rear line.
