martinh 2 Posted May 31, 2015 (edited) Quick question regarding rear beams. I want disc brakes on the rear of my soon to be converted 205 gti6. At the minute I have a 1.6 beam which is on the car and also a seized gti6 beam, if the trailing arms are removable on the gti6 beam am I able to fit these to the 1.6 beam tube and use the 205 torsion bars/arb. This would then allow me to run gti6 discs/calipers/shocks etc? Ive had a search and seen people doing it but not sure whether they started with a 1.6 or a 1.9 beam if indeed there is any difference other than one having drums and the other having discs?
