Throttle Cable. Which One?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering which cable people use for a 306 gti6 converted 205 gti? I guess a 306 gti6 item? If so any mods needed for fitment on the pedal end?

Thanks.

Lovely thanks. Just got to try and remember what a standard pedal looks like in comparison to my possibly butchered one from running twin carbs on the previous set up!

I might be wrong but nif you want to route the cable along the front parallel to the fuel rail, so it doesnt go over the head, you need the 405 one.

As above, the easiest way is to use a generic 80/90's PSA throttle cable kit cut to the appropriate length.

The cable needs to be roughly 405 length, but the generic kits are usually massively over-length and need to be cut down to suit your particular application.

From what I remember, 306/Xsara cables have the wrong bulkhead fitting so they're not suitable.
