Nice :) Miles recently had my rear bumper off the car when it was down with him for some work and I think he found it was also pretty decent considering it's 24 years old this year. Bar a new set of the rubber bumper buffers everything was still intact, not rusted in, etc :)

Looks a familiar sight. Better condition to mine which is 28 years old, although it had a very light tap which I have only just repaired.

Out of interested, is it a low miler, garaged example?

Just shy of 100.000 miles

Was living in a Wood yard for nearly ten years, previous owner said that is was under cover in a warm dry yard so could explain the lack of rot, engine was knackered mind and all the brakes seized

1 full engine rebuild later and complete braking system replaced and other various bits n bobs, just waiting on the re spray

Then hopefully be using it this summer

I saved myself the hassle of trying to undo them with a spanner,

I used a 8mm drill bit and marked the centre on the bumper bolt and drilled them out, took about 30 seconds to release them

As soon as I got through to the bolt it just fell on the floor and the bumper came off.

If I could of put a spanner on the nut I would of except that the nut had rusted away so no spanner would fit.
