Plastic Primer

Recommended Posts

I have a front splitter that I have repaired using a professional plastic adhesive, I now need to prime, filler prime and paint it satin blacks, what products have you used, I know there many out there. paints not a issue as I've got that, usually if it's a new mirror cover or used a 1k acid etch in rattle can and not had a problem but being old scratched plastic it's a bit different. I've flatted and keyed it already so the prep is done. I don't know what plastic it is, it's not marked that's the only issue being 80's bmw.

Alistair,

I have used the U-pol plast plastic repair product, the filler primer I think is number 3. I did the group spoiler refurb with it and the end results were very good.

If you wanted to try a patch first I think I have a little bit left
