Webber Carbs Fitting Guide

Hi could some one point me in the right direction to a possible link to fitting 45s on a 1.9 gti. Mine has power steering (hydraulic) so need advice on the alt bracket, oil pipes, wiring, water pipes etc. sorry if I've missed the guide anywhere on here. Thanks in advance Neil

You wont be able to use the standard power steering pump / alternator arrangement due to clearance issues caused by the inlet manifold / carburetors on a 8V engine. Alternatives are fitting a Saxo / 106 electrically powered pump or fitting a Corsa power steering column

Or you can use an alloy sump with air con mounts and use these to mount the pas pump to. Some photos on the forum somewhere. Moves the pas pump right down out of the way.
