welshpug 1,647 Posted May 2, 2015 same thing, but dear god how much?! 71p each, should still be available, were used on the mk1 and 2 partner, 405 309 206 306, zx xsara etc, never specifically listed on servicebox for a 205 but they do the job.
m@ttc 30 Posted May 2, 2015 so you can use these instead of the plastic type 205 ones?
welshpug 1,647 Posted May 2, 2015 what plastic ones?
m@ttc 30 Posted May 2, 2015 the ones on the fuel tank the cables push into.
welshpug 1,647 Posted May 2, 2015 the metal clips retain the cables into the plastic guides.
m@ttc 30 Posted May 2, 2015 that might explain why they never stayed in place then, id push them in and they would fall back out. I thought that maybe the black tube sleeve over the cable was ment to go into them to offer a more secure fit but never did. I must have always been missing these metal clips then. hoodygoodwood 70 3 Cars Posted May 2, 2015 These are still available , I bought some recently for my 309 . Some companies are just having a laugh with those prices .
2052006 10 Posted May 4, 2015 Are these supposed to be used on all phases of 205? I wasn't aware of them, and my handbrake cables fit into the plastic "guides" on the bottom of the fuel tank very tightly, with no danger of falling out - that's the only reason I ask.
