common prob with corner bar as the bolt sheared off, is a captive bolt?

 

was taking off the bar so i could access the washer bottle for the washers

 

also need a new set of bars,not sure where to get these??

 

how do i reinstate a bolt to hold new bars on the inner wing?

The ones that hold the bumper on? You can drill the old stud out, cut a bolts head off put it in the hole and weld it on. A decent garage could sort this for beer money if you don't have a welder

Can of worms springs to mind here!

 

The male thread that sticks out on the inner wing is part of the bumper mounting "iron". However to get that out to repair it you'll need to remove the front bumper which will mean battling with numerous other seized rusted solid bolts on the top hats and sliders at the bumper corners.

 

Once you have the bumper iron removed its easy enough to chop the old bolt off and weld a new one on. Its just all the dismantling to get there which will be a pig.

It's in this bracket and as stated it's the front bumper bracket so it's a pain to get it out as most bolts and nuts will be rusted

ok no worries, its going in for paint soon so let them deal with it

 

managed to save the other side which is better than both being snapped.
