Do I Need Auto Bonnet?

A am getting everything together to fit a vts engine in my K reg gentry,Do i have to replace the bonnet as the car was auto origonally although i cant see any difference to the manual one.Also does anyone know the Gates part no for the auxilliary belt none A/C conversion?

You can retain the existing bonnet just fine, only difference is that the auto one has more clearance at the rear.

 

I think the late (injection) auto bonnets are the same as the manual ones anyway - it's only the auto carb models from memory.

Carb and SPI auto models had the hump, just not the MPI's.
