Just picked up a 16v lump from a 106gti.

The guy seems to think its a 2003 engine but all the images I seem to find of engines around that year have plastic cam covers, mine are aluminium?

Are the plastic ones from the JP4 and not the J4?

Just wanting to check what I have before buying any seal kits etc.

Also has a 3 plug ecu and not the two plug type?
