Has any one on the forum attempted to replace one of these items. If so how much of a job is it also anyone know where to buy one from. My car has an electric roof. Would this item differ from manaul roof as I know the outer roof is not the same as a manaul one any info would be helpful thanks peter

There is a pdf guide somewhere on here IIRC, try main homepage.

Its a bit fiddly and you might have to remove the outer to skin as I think the inner is fitted to the frame first (from bad memory)

As for tools though you don't need much.... rivet gun craft knife, drill and impact adhesive.

Chances are the metal clamps, rear quarter stiffeners and elastic will need replacing. which you might have trouble finding.

Though I saw re-manufactured rear quarters stiffeners on ebay (from someone on here) not too long ago. at a very reasonable price too.
