New Linkages And Now I Can Not Get 2Nd Gear

Good evening Im finally at the stage last stage in my 205 gti6 conversion, the test drive found out my reverse cable has snapped ( be1 1.6 box) and I cannot get 2nd gear after I have swapped the linkages over, I lost the originals to go by so I found some measurements of the web and went by them.

 

Any ideas on the non 2nd gear

 

Is it true I can use a 306 gti6 reverse cable as I've read up on

Did you buy the 3 linkages , there are a few different suppliers out there . Just a wild guess but there is a difference between BE1 and BE3 linkages , the longest one is the same for both but the others have different part numbers on Servicebox .

Linkages unless badly wrong make no difference in gear change, the BE1 and 3 are the same bar the short one is 45 degree's different.

If you can get all the other's then try rolling the car forward as the box can get stuck or try the other gears then 2nd

Thanks for the reply I had them of baker bm for some reason is all is fine and dandy might of got stuck like miles said,

 

Now the Dam thing won't start because of the alternator won't charge The battery so I think ive wired that up wrong hopefully from what I've read it's on a gti6 conversion I'm sure I had a choice of two wires
