Screen Washer Hose

Recommended Posts

sp_en_ny

Hi Everyone,

Just recently replaced my windscreen washer pump, unfortunately when I connect the hose to is where the plastic has become hard and lost its flexibility it has not formed a seal on the new pump and so water is continuously dripping.

Does anyone know what size the hose is ? I have found several site to buy it from but they all do various sizes,

Thanks

I just use hose from a newer pug from a scrapyard, there are yards of the stuff in the bigger vehicles.

You can get the clear hose from a motor factor and I think B&Q do it too

Thanks everyone for your feedback, Thanks for the offer Farmer but as its just a bit of plastic tubing I will give the cheaper stuff ago first. Has anyone tried upgrading their jets to the mist type as opposed to the originals ? I found an old string of comments where the outcome was very mixed.

I quite like the mist spray type as have them on my xsara and they work well.

I've put 405 spray bars on my 309, they aren't mega high pressure but the windscreen gets a good coating of water, works a treat
