Front Gti Bumper Mounting.

Recommended Posts

Has anyone come up with a ingenious way of mounting the front bumper on a 205 gti without splashing out on new parts (sliders ect)

i can't bring myself to pay near £200 for a front bumper mounting kit there must be another way?

here's a few pics of what i have got, its pretty simple really it just consists of a nut, a washer and a bolt. all you need to do is weld the nut to the washer

that nut is a tad long Jamie, IIRC they should be flush with the rubber, Tom Fenton makes them in SS.

Good stuff, it's good seeing folk take the initiative and make bits up. Blast and powder coat those slider brackets and they'll be fine...
