Berlingo And Partner Brakes The Same?

I believe these 2 cars are virtually the same car however just thought i would check if their brakes have exactly the same disc and calipers? French cars can do some weird things sometimes LOL.

Hoping to fit some Partner brakes on my 205....[ i know the Berlingo ones fit. ]

yep, same hubs, several different types so best grab the discs and calipers and check hose length.

As always Mei....thank you !! Do you know which Partner has the 266 discs/calipers the same as Berlingo.... i googled but there are tons of versions of these cars.

I dont have access to the cars as they are in a wreckers 100klms away :{

most will be 266x22mm, some are 283x26mm! depends on age, engine and weight capacity.

arghh ! thats what i thought Mei. It is a 2010 diesel Partner and i am wondering if those brake calipers will fit onto a 1.6 GTI hub?

Anybody tried it ?

no they won't fit, only a 1.6 disc will fit and any 247mm vented tyoe caliper

yes, any of them will fit, though 266 max for most 14" wheels, HOWEVER, 2010 was when the mk3 (B9) Partner platform was introduced, which only used the 283x26mm discs, the hubs look to be 307 items rather than 306.

 

Brakes from the M54 Platform are the ones we know will definitely fit

You are a gem Mei....thanks again. I managed to get the VIN of the Partner and unfortunately it doesnt match the Berlingo part numbers. :[

The Partner is a B9 as you say [283mm ] and the Berlingo had 266mm. Will keep trying !!
