Brake Hose Lengths With Gti6 Calipers - Searched With No Success

Hi All,

 

I know this is a hugely covered subject and I really thought I'd find the answer I needed but seemingly have failed!

 

I'm looking at ordering some stainless braided hoses but want to get the fronts longer than the std 1.9 GTi spec (440mm Tip to Tip I believe).

 

Does anyone know what length is required to fit GTi 6 calipers with some certainty/experience, e.g. would 500mm tip to tip be ok, or would longer be required?

Thanks very much! Reasonable cost as well, only shame is they don't seem to be sell a set with these and rear hoses. Any idea on their length?

hopefully he has re stocked as he had run out when i needed some for my brembo's i had to put the callipers on the car then use a length of mig wire to trace where the line would run and then measure the wire. hope this helps
