Clifford Eagle 1 Remote Control Range /lowering Sensitivity

Is there anyway to change the Clifford remote to a newer more sensitive setup or are they not backwards compatible?

I am getting lots of false positives probably from cats or birds landing on the car and was wondering if I could buy a more sensitive remote so I can look out the window and cancel a false positive or if this isn't possible is there a way to dial down the sensitivity slightly?

Have you tried CliffNet wizard? (Assuming you can connect to the Eagle system with it). There might be an option in there to adjust sensitivity. It's been a while since I've used it but it's certainly worth a look.
