Eibach Springs On A 205/309 Gti

I will be fitting a pair of new Bilstein front shocks to my 309 GTI when I put it back together , I wanted to try a pair of Eibach springs for the first time .Checking out the Eibach website they list the 309 GTI coils as E7005-120 which lower it 20-30mm . 205 GTI ( 1.6 and 1.9 ) coils are E7001-120 and drop 25-35mm .Seeing how similar the 2 models are I am wondering what the differences could be , the 309 is slightly heavier which might mean the coils for that model have a higher poundage - that would make sense seeing they do not lower it as much as a 205 .Has anyone compared these before .

The 309 springs are about £30 more than the 205 models which is a bit cheeky considering how similar they must be .I can also get them posted from Germany for about £40 cheaper than from Demon Tweeks in this country .

Any advice please , I want to lower the 309 30-40mm .

Would consider a secondhand set if in VG condition .Is the fitment code marked on them .
