Speedo Under Reading

I'm running be3 gearbox from zx d-turbo and engine

 

I have done some research and found that the speedo gear the sits in the side of the diff on the drivers side are all different amount of teeth for like 205,306,zx etc

 

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what one I need becuase the one out of the my 205 1.8d was black and there's one on eBay which is white?

You need which ever was in the gearbox which came with your car.

White drive and red pinion wheel is what you need

Red pinion?

The white drive is what fixed to the end of the diff (in the speedo housing), to convert the output to the speedo you need a take off, the correct one for the white drive would be a red coloured 'cog or as miles has said 'pinion'
