New 15 Reg Issues?

Recommended Posts

deathbringer929

So, my old boy goes to collet his new BMW R1200RT this morning to be told you can't take it as DVLA websites crashed so we can't tax any bikes.

There's about 40 new bikes waiting to go out in the showroom. To top it off he paid for sat nav to be fitted and top box to be colour coded. Sat nav is on it ok but top box not been painted, sorry sir paint shop been too busy. This bike was ordered and paid for over a month ago and this is North of 15 grand!!

So has anyone else been to collet a new vehicle today to be told there's no tax on it?

I was supposed to be getting a new golf r this week but I've now been told I won't be seeing it until some time in April.

Nothing to do with the dvla though. Its to do with vw being complete trumpets. 6 months to deliver a car they build in 36 hours.

Its only a bloody golf!

Jesus! No wonder some cars go up in value so much as soon as they leave the showroom! I guess it's to jump the que!

I remember when the bmw mini came out the second hand prices were £2000 more expensive!

Same with the landy evoque, my step father was tempted to sell his for a quick profit when it was delivered as it took a good 3-4 months for his and it was top spec apart from the engine, so could have made a couple of k easy. The BMW bike dealership near where I lived for a while in dalkeith was meant to be spot on, always heard how good they were
