Maximum Acceptable Runout Of Shock Absorber?

Hello,

 

Can anybody advise if there is a tolerable amount of runout for the shaft of a shock absorber?

 

I'm taking the coilovers off my accident damaged car, and want to check everything is still in useable condition.

 

There doesn't appear to be any visible bends, but I don't want to just stick them onto the other shell and then have them implode mid corner or something daft.
