Where Is Best To Buy Replacement Body Panels

Hi,

 

I am in the stage of my rebuild that I need to replace some panels however having sourced some from taros before that were terrible I would like to ask people's suggestions?

 

I need a drivers sill and a front headlight panel

your local motorfactor should be able to sort you out, fitted those parts to a 205 last year, think the sill was around £30 and front panel around £70.

Best advice I can give is to beg/borrow/hire/buy a spot welder. Makes a OE job of attaching the new panels and also so fast compared to seam welding with a MIG. They are often available second hand as they are the sort of thing you maybe only use once for a lot of folk.

Thank you both great advice, severely of my friends are fabricator welders so will see if I can borrow

And will get on the blower to GSF tomorrow

Try hadrian panels for panels, my tupence worth is to only replace what you need to of headlight panel, cut out the rot and cut out the new panel and weld it in. Its an arse of a job removing the full headlight panel.

 

Headlight panel is £13 iirc
