Is This The Right Solenoid For The Slim Body Starter Motor For The 205

Just wondering if this is the right part.. My motor seems to be OK but one of the posts on the solenoid has come loose (the result of cross threading a nut and then trying to back it off), so if I can just replace the solenoid without having to ship an entire motor here it would be great.

What engine do you need it for? The ad suggests its for a TU powered car.

It looks like one solenoid fits a lot of different starters according to this - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151209129951 - The Valeo part numbers on there starting with D6RA are all listed on Peugeot Servicebox for the 306 GTI6.

I'm in need of a solenoid for a starting motor on a 1.9 gti.

I didn't think the slim starters were fitted to 205 GTIs as standard?

I've no clue. I thought later models received the slim motor. In any case this motor was not original with the engine. Luckily it seems a place local to me van replace the solenoid which seems to be shared with a range of starters from various manufacturers.
