Tailgate Posting

I need to post a tailgate with glass in, just wondering if anyone else has done, and how best to do it? I'm currently pipe lagging the perimeter of the boot, then will be cutting hard board to cover the glass. After that I'm a bit stuck apart from loads of card board?

personally I wouldn't ever consider posting a tailgate, collection or pony express only.

No problem, I just organized getting a set of wheels and tyres through them a few weeks ago and it was faultless, driver even had a chat about my car and his son's 106gti

make sure you go overboard protecting the edges/lips on the tailgate as they're really easy to bend/kink when the parcel is stood on its end - I've had a couple of tailgates moved in the past and both turned up with damage. Paisely Freight is good, and I've used them for wheels before, but they're just an intermediary - it's often the usual suspects that actually collect/deliver.

I had a fibreglass bonnet shipped the other week which was very risky and it had clearly been dropped when I got it.

 

I think people often have issues when shipping large panels

I sent a bonnet once, and it literally arrived folded in half!
