Gti6 Engine Noise

Hi all,

If any of you have time, I'd be very grateful if you could have a look at a video of the Gti6 engine in my 205. It's just started making a funny whirring/rubbing noise. Seems to be coming from the middle area of the engine and is most noticeable on idle. No loss of power noted and temps and pressures all fine.

What do you all think?

I have a Ring trip planned for Easter so if it's serious I need to get on it straight away.

Do you still have the resonator box fitted? If so could be cracked and sucking in air. I couldn't hear a rubbing noise from the video.

Yes, the resonator box is fitted. I'll have a look at it tomorrow. Thanks for replying.
