I have sat and searched forums now for 3 nights and although there are alot of threads about this problem nobody has posted up if what they did worked I have a 205 gti6 and having problems with idling when cold it will idle but after 2 mins blip the throttle and it dies then it won't start and idle only start if u give it gas.

I have stripped and cleaned the throttle body and put back together using genuine gaskets I've replaced the Icv and the map sensor I've checked for air leaks I've tried running it with lambda plugged in and unplugged I'm running out of ideas can anyone help.

Try the CTS. They can mess with cold idle. Unplugg the cts, remove the positive terminal on the battery and reset the ecu for 2 minutes. Replace and try that.

How are your plugs?

Ive just been through this and it was the lambda in the end. I had to drive the car to check it. Not just start it.

Hope that helps
