Bargain Tool Chest At Halfords

Recommended Posts

mowflow

Saw this posted on another forum and have just reserved one for collection.

http://www.halfords.com/motoring?partnumber=615314,199227&sort=price-low-to-high&sort=price-low-to-high&sort=price-low-to-high&sort=price-low-to-high&cm_re=banner-_-motoring+Pages-_-test1

6 drawer bb drawer tool chest reduced from £240 to £150 then if you add the 95 piece tool set at another £40 (which isn't as good as it sounds) the price for both combined drops to £100.

An absolute bargain in my opinion.

I wonder how much that deal is with trade card?!?!

Probably more expensive - the special offers often don't apply on trade cards.

Often dont, and the trade comes off the 'RRP', but I did get a corker of a deal with trade on a toolbox 'BOGOF' offer a couple of years back, so it's worth trying, and it it does scan for more, ask for the transaction to be restarted without the card.

I saw this thread earlier, and popped into the local Halfords and picked up this bundle myself.

The tool set is a bit naff and I wouldn't pay £40 for it, but the soft case/bag it comes in will be handy for keeping in the 205.

The tool chest on the other hand I am impressed with! The drawers roll in and out nicely, and the castors seem nice and sturdy.

Me and my dad have wanted a tool chest like this for a long while, but always thought they were too expensive....so thought this one was a bargain!

It was even worth dealing with the local grunts at Halfrauds!

Picked mine up yesterday. Pretty decent for the price. Wee bit smaller than I thought but still good for the price. The tools are just ok, wouldn't pay £40 for them but worth getting to save £50. I'm actually wondering what would happen if you took the tools back for a refund making the chest even cheaper.

They are doing the ball bearing set at £250.

Top, middle and roll cab.

Roll cab is £249 on its own.
